Help: Full-Screen Flip clarification

I am trying to understand the Full-screen; Flip statement "A full-screen HTML gallery for desktop displays; requires an alternative presentation for mobile. Obviates all other content on the assigned page."

What is meant by "requires an alternative presentation for mobile"?
What are the issues when setting Full-screen; Flip for Gallery Type; mobile?

What is the "assigned page"?
What is meant by "Obviates all other content on the assigned page" - removes the need? for all other content on the assigned page?

Re: Help: Full-Screen Flip clarification

What is meant by "requires an alternative presentation for mobile"?

not sure. It seems to work on mobile, though it doesn't look as nice.

I just changed my test site to full screen flip for both desktop and mobile if you want to take a look:
http://ce4.barbeephoto.com/
the images haven't really been chosen for full-screen flip. there are some verticals in there, which don't really work well with this presentation

What is the "assigned page"?

the page you assign the full-screen flip to under Appearance > the Gallery : Page assignment
http://ce4.theturninggate.net/docs/doku … he_gallery

What is meant by "Obviates all other content on the assigned page"

It means that it doesn't matter what text or images you put on the assigned page, the flip-gallery will replace it all.

Just give it a try, you'll see what happens.

Re: Help: Full-Screen Flip clarification

I think I understand. In LR I created a test flip screen website, but haven't published it. Now that I understand the answer to my other post, why my website renders so large, and that it actually looks fine unless the computer has it display settings set to larger than 100%, I feel comfortable with my basic web layout using the Galleria Slideshow on the home page. At this point I am not sure if I want to switch over to the flip screen website, but will do a few more experiments with it and get feedback from some other people.

Thanks for your help. You are tremendous asset to TTG software users.

Re: Help: Full-Screen Flip clarification

the cool thing about it is you can switch between flip-screen and Galleria pretty easily.
