Galleria on frontpage.

Hi.
I'm trying to make it possible to update a Galleria gallery on my frontpage using the publisher.
The gallery is working when uploading the "pages" but than it's not possible to use the publisher to update the gallery. If I make the frontpage in Stage, than the frontpage is blank after uploading.
I have used Fullscreen Flip for a long time with success but I've redesigned my website and want to use the Galleria.

Any tips?  My website: http://www.fotopluss.no

Best regards,
Tor

Re: Galleria on frontpage.

Hi Tor,

have you seen the documentation?
http://ce4.theturninggate.net/docs/doku … _home_page

or this post:
http://theturninggate.net/2014/07/the-p … home-page/

It doesn't appear as though you've created an album with the slug 'pages-gallery' yet. This is needed for Publisher replacement of the home page to work.
It should be here: http://www.fotopluss.no/galleries/pages-gallery but I get a 404 error.

Also make sure you've assign the gallery replacement by Publisher to the Home page

Re: Galleria on frontpage.

Hi again.

I've tried all steps in the documentation without luck and I've made an album with the slug "pages-gallery".
Maybe I've been messing up some other settings in my attempt to get it to work.

I want the album above the text. Is it the text the mess it up or will the used template replace the hole "Home pages"?

I'm lost...

Re: Galleria on frontpage.

Your home page is not being replaced by Publisher. Make sure you select Home page in Pages: Appearance > the Gallery: Page Assignment
http://ce4.theturninggate.net/docs/doku … _ce4_pages

Also, the text you already have on the home page is irrelevant. the page will be completely replaced by the CE4 Gallery you have here: http://www.fotopluss.no/galleries/pages-gallery/

If you wanted it to be a Galleria slide show, that album needs to be made with a Stage template configured for Galleria.
