Hi,
CE4 looks very promising but I was wondering if it will work on my website (Wordpress getphoto theme). My site is www.krisjacobs.be.
Is there an easy way for showing pictures to visitors after an event and letting them download them?

You can publish our galleries alongside your WordPress site; one should not interfere with the other.
You can easily publish an album following an event using CE4 Publisher and CE4 Gallery (or Client Response Gallery). If you enable image download features, then yes, visitors will be able to download photos.
We have tutorials how to setup our gallery system with respect to WordPress, and you can always ask questions here if you hit a snag while setting up.
I would recommend also purchasing CE4 Auto Index to help organize your albums. We have several bundle options containing these items, so you should check those out in our shop.

Hi Matthew,
Thanks for the info. I have purchsed the TTG CE4 Client Response Gallery. Have tried installing it by following instructions on your site "http://ce4.theturninggate.net/docs/doku … tion_setup"but I really don't know how to do it. Made a page on my website "TTG-be" but that's as far as I get. There 's no content in this page and when I try logging in with " http://krisjacobs.be/ttg-be/admin/ I get an empty page. Cannot edit any settings. What am I missing? Isn't there a movie about installation?

the link to your ttg-be admin is just redirecting to what looks like a generic 404 page?
Anyway, make sure your hosting conforms to the stated TTG requirements found on all product pages:
System & Hosting Requirements
System
Mac or Windows PC, running Lightroom 3 or newer.
Hosting
Linux OS
Apache server
PHP 5.2.6 or newer, with SQLite and PDO modules enabled
WordPress 3.9.1 or newerCE4 plugins are not standalone software, and require Lightroom to run. Content should be published to the Web, requiring a domain name and standard web hosting. Hosted website services such as those provided by LiveBooks, Squarespace, etc. do not qualify as standard web hosting and are incompatible with output from TTG plugins. For quality, affordable, TTG certified hosting, we fervently recommend Bluehost.
Sometimes hosts configure things in a non-standards way and Ben (the other developer) may need to have FTP access to find the problems.
But first make sure your host is compliant (especially with php version and PDO and SQLITE)

exactly what do you mean by this?
You shouldn't need to "make a page" for ttg-be. You simply unzip the ttg-be.zip folder you received with your purchase and upload the ttg-be/ folder to the root of your site.

Okay Rod, And how do I upload this folder to my Wordpress site? Where do I put it?

Use your FTP program and upload it to the root of your site. On most servers this is the public_html folder

Sorry, this is "Chinese" to me Rod. I have no idea where the root of my site is. It's a Wordpress site...

It's usually the public_html folder on the server.

Great! I'm going to go ahead and close this thread now. If you have more questions, feel free to start them in the forum section for the plug-in you're using
