Hi,
I love this TTG software and have used more and more of it for a long time now. I've simply been uploading new galleries to my /galleries folder. I mainly use publisher and the cart. I have never used Auto Index but want to start now as I've got a shoot coming up where I might have to have password protected mini galleries for an unknown number of clients. There is an autoindex and a gallery folder in the templates directory on my server but the autoindex folder is completely empty.
I have read heaps but just can't seem to get my head around what goes in that autoindex folder and how it gets into the folder. Help will be appreciated.
Regards,
Bren

You need to export and upload an Autoindex to your /ttg-be/templates/Autoindex/ folder in order for Publisher to have a template to work with when creating Album Sets.
Just like you need an exported CE4 Gallery in the /ttg-be/templates/gallery/ folder to act as a template for Publisher to create albums.

Thanks Rod, but how closely does the Autoindex I export have to match with the template I have already exported to templates? In other words, what relationship does an Autoindex for upload have with my existing templates that I have already uploaded?

If you're creating Album Sets with Publisher, then you don't need to upload another Autoindex.
What exactly are you trying to do?

I'm trying to create albums for an Album Set. Here is the error message I get after I click on the Album Set thumbnail on my galleries page.
Unable to find ./../../ttg-be/publisher/application/../../templates/autoindex//setup.xml

looks like you've not uploaded a template (an exported autoindex) to the /ttg-be/templates/autoindex/ folder
can you provide a link?

Rod, you are right. It is all working now after I uploading a template into the autoindex folder. Thanks very much for your assistance.
