Transferring Notes to Meta Data easily?

We have a client that added lots of notes via the pencil icon in a crg site. Maybe 700 short notes on 700 photos. Is there ANY way to easily transfer that info to the meta data in lightroom. We use TTG BE management uploaded via publisher.
I'm hoping there is something easier than searching each file name and applying manually.
Thanks in advance

Re: Transferring Notes to Meta Data easily?

Take a look at the Lightroom Transporter plug-in
http://www.photographers-toolbox.com/pr … porter.php

You may need to investigate other plugins. John Beardsworth's Search and Replace plug-in can create custom metadata fields for use in the catalog.
His List View plug-in allows for exporting metadata to an Excel file and apparently soon it will be able to move metadata from Excel to Lightroom.

there's probably a way to use these plug-ins separately or together to do what you want. There may also be other Lightroom plug-ins that will work. Try a search on Lightroom metadata plug-in.

Re: Transferring Notes to Meta Data easily?

Thanks for the reply. I'm probably missing something but these plugins seem to be more about getting meta data out of lightroom.
I'm just trying to get the info that is coming out of the crg website back into lightroom. Below you can a copy and paste from a small section of one of my feedbacks. I'm just looking for a way to get the NOTES into lightroom without copy and pasting each file name.

Re: Transferring Notes to Meta Data easily?

The Publisher SDK supports fetching of Comments and Ratings from the web service.  This is a feature we'd like to implement, however at this point we have no ETA on doing so.

Keep an eye on John Beardsworth's site. It looks like he's planning on making his List View plug-in capable of pushing metadata from Excel or csv to Lightroom.
Or you might be able to find another plug-in capable of doing that right now. Otherwise, for now, it's copy and paste.
