Hello,
once again and still working on my page ....
I made a auto index template which allows a sidebar. In my template there is an image at the top of the sidebar, below text.
Now I am creating album sets with publisher and I want each album set with an own image in the sidebar. What do I have to do that it works?
Settings in publisher in "page copy" are "replace template Sidebar copy". With text this is ok. But what about the image? I tried to add this:
<img src="photos/image-name.jpg" alt="image alt text" style="width: 300px;" class="float-left" title="Optional title"/> Beschreibung Album Set B-E1
as previously suggested in another question from me:
This results in "image alt text" display in the sidebar, but not the image (image named "image-name.jpg" exists in folder "photos").
Thanks for help.
Best regards
Wolfgang

I have tested a few things, but I am no expert in writing html code...
When I write in the publisher "page copy":
<a ><img src="http://foto-dresden.eu/photos/image-name.jpg" alt="image alt text" /></a>
the result is the right picture at the right place. But the layout is not "responsive" - when I change the size of the browser window the size of the image changes but not in the proportions it should do. How can I change this?
The current (test) state:

seems to be working as expected to me. As the browser window gets smaller, the image gets smaller. When you hit the media query breakpoint, the sidebar moves below the main content and the picture takes up the width of the page container.

You are absolutely right, Rod. Step by step I learn which setting in a template affects which design in the website...
Just for explanation: in the templates I use now:
- in my "pages" template in the color palette the "max-width" of Galleries Page Image is set to 400 px -> this affects the max. size of the image in the galleries page (which is called "Galerie" on my site).
- in my "auto index" template in the color palette the "max-width" of Page image is set to 600 px -> this affects the max. size of the image in the page that shows album sets.
So when the browser window gets smaller, the image is first set to these max. sizes as soon as the sidebar is placed below the main content. And of course, a size of 400 px is much smaller than 600 px . And when the browser window gets even smaller, the pictures are both scaled to fit...
Great, it works... and I know a bit more again... thanks a lot...
