Gallery Photos are a no-show

Hello all,
Newbee here. Working on my first site, having trouble with my gallery photos not showing.
The 3 photos for the home page slideshow are active but can't get gallery photos to show.
What am I doing wrong?
Also what is the best size photos for the gallery?
Take a look at....

Re: Gallery Photos are a no-show

it looks to me like you've not published any images to your albums. After you create an Album in Publisher, be sure to click on the Publish button.

Re: Gallery Photos are a no-show

Rod,
You were right. Once published they showed up. Now I can add more galleries.

On the home page... Can the photos fill more of the space... the black on each side?
What is the best size for the gallery photos?
Do they need to be the same size?
I am posting at 72ppi.

Any recommendations for improvement (this is my first attempt)?
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Re: Gallery Photos are a no-show

ppi is meaningless on the web. Pixel dimensions is what counts.

if you want the photos to come close to filling the page area, then you'll probably want to export them at least 1000 px or so wide.

the photos in the galleria gallery will fit the space allotted based on the aspect ratio you supplied in the set up. If you want to get rid of the black background, just choose the same color as the page for the background color.

More on that, if you want it.
