While publishing a gallery (large one) I get almost continuous error messages pop up. I click ok & it appears to carry on publishing. I've yet to examine the gallery in details to see if it missed anything or if anything is wrong, but I wondered if someone had a simple answer to what was happening?

Hi Richard, this is caused by Lightroom failing to handle parallel processing of multiple albums. Publisher 2.3.1 takes steps to avoid the problem, by processing less metadata and therefore reducing the pressure on LR to cope with multiple publishing. If you're not already running 2.3.1, I suggest that you upgrade and see whether that solves the problem.
If you're still experiencing the issue, then make sure to only publish one album at a time. A work-around to publishing to multiple albums is to right-click an album set that has multiple albums to update, and click 'Publish'. This will cause Lightroom to publish to each album in sequence without attempting to simultaneously publish to multiple albums.

Thanks Ben. I was publishing just one gallery. When I get a chance to update I'll see if the problem goes away.

Hi Richard, that's interesting. I've only come across that when publishing to multiple albums. Roughly how many photos are in the album, and how far did it get before the error?

380 & I think there were about 52 left when I got the message multiple times...
I've just updated (so can't repeat) but I'll let you know if I get a similar error

Deleted re-created & re-published the same gallery from scratch with 2.3.1 with no problems...
