Adding a Blog to my exiting website

My current website is based on the web publishing bundle. I would like to add a blog such that the blog is listed in the navigation area of my current pages. Of course the blog would have its own "page". The documentation is for wordpress being the home page. Is there any documentation that deals with my situation where wordpress is not the home page?
This site is setup the way I would like: http://www.brunocauwe.net/
Cheers,
John

Re: Adding a Blog to my exiting website

Yes, I did read that documentation. What I find confusing is having my home page as a gallery. Now my home page has a single image. I have a "Portfolio" page which is a gallery. I want the blog to have its own page.
If I make my home page a gallery, won't that conflict with the "Portfolio" page which is also a gallery?

Re: Adding a Blog to my exiting website

that tutorial is for having a blog in addition to a Pages based website. The home page is not a gallery (unless you set it up to be that way)

Regardless, all you need to do is install WordPress in a sub-folder. Mine is in a folder named "blog", for example.

If using Pages your home page can be a single image with or without accompanying text, a slideshow with or without text, a full-screen flip gallery, or just text.
If you're using Publisher, you could also have a CE4 Gallery or a full-screen auto gallery as your home page.

in my site I'm using a Galleria slide show for the home page. You'll see a link to my blog in the menu

Ok, I'll install WordPress in a sub-folder in the root directory, Is that correct?

Re: Adding a Blog to my exiting website

Great thanks! I'll start to work on it in a couple of days. Any other suggestions before I get started?

Re: Adding a Blog to my exiting website

I've just bought TTG Theme for Wordpress and I have done what Rod has done by installing a blog into a sub-folder of my website at the main root of my CE4 website. I'm using pages for the main navigation, and I love it. I just want to add a blog and I want it too look like and navigate like the rest of my TTG website.

Can I read and do the same thing for TTG Theme for Wordpress?:

yes, you can share the settings, that's exactly what I did. Just give it a try.
