Hi, i try to install a new and fresh CE4 CRG bundle in my server
I have install and follow the steps from this
http://ce4.theturninggate.net/docs/doku.php?id=ce4_104
But i have some issues.
What i want.
My site is www.paulobrandao.com
but my clients galleries is on (clientes.paulobrandao.com/galleries) i made a link in my site (clientes) to this "autoindex" page psw protected made with CE4 autoindex
I want every client enter the psw and login to see the galleries for each client
something like that
GALLERIES (nothing visible, psw protected)
after login the client must see yours autoindex with links to galleries.
Client 01 (i use album set for this in LR)
----- album 01
----- album 02
----- album 03
...
clientes.paulobrandao.es/galleries
1. Should i use login in ce4 autoindex?( i have used this option)
2. i need to activate "CRG4" psw protection? (i think not, but)
3. In publisher, i need to check the option for galleries psw protection?
Localisations
i create spain, is that for translate to spanish?
So i'm a little lost, gets start from begin please.
and need to check every step.
Start here
i want client enter login here
http://clientes.paulobrandao.es/galleries/
After Login
http://clientes.paulobrandao.es/galleries/areagofit/
note "areagofit is the client" and i need a page autoindex with albums
and this is a album to this client
http://clientes.paulobrandao.es/galleri … gofit/paul

1. Should i use login in ce4 autoindex?( i have used this option)
that's up to you. If you mean to password protect the galleries autoindex, you'll probably also need to password protect the individual album sets for each client. Seems like an extra burden for clients.
2. i need to activate "CRG4" psw protection? (i think not, but)
again, up to you. If you've password protected the album set leading to the CRG, then it seems pointless.
BUT, if you're using CRG Client Management you'll also need to set a password for the albums.
see this about the different deployment options: http://theturninggate.net/2015/02/clari … e-gallery/
3. In publisher, i need to check the option for galleries psw protection?
Again, up to you. This will all depend on how you're deploying your CRGs. If they're stand alone, you could just password protect the album set holding the CRG.
i want client enter login here
http://clientes.paulobrandao.es/galleries/
If you do this, then all clients will have access to all other clients' galleries. You'd need to password protect each client's album set.
Again, if you only password protect the galleries folder, all clients will have access to this folder
(by the way, you'll need to upload an autoindex to /ttg-be/templates/autoindex/ for this page to work.)

Sounds like the better option might be to use client-management features built into CRG. See section 3 of this blog post:

HI,
thanks
this sounds perfect
Use client-management features built into CRG. See section 3 of this blog post:
http://theturninggate.net/2015/02/clari … e-gallery/
But i need some help to configure that step by step, because i have some problems in my previous (3rd) installation.
If you can - can you create a help only with this, i think every one needs to. Because i'm following your steps to installation, but exist some issues i can`t understand.

Can you list the steps you've taken? What don't you understand?
Otherwise we can only refer back to the existing documentation.

Lets take step by step, please.
Clients may access their assigned galleries in either of two ways:
By visiting a managed CRG gallery, the client will be prompted to log in. After logging in, the client will be redirected to the gallery.
By visiting /ttg-be/crg/ on your server. After logging in, the client will be presented a list of galleries to which they have been assigned access. In the case that only one gallery has been assigned, the client will be redirected directly to that gallery.
OK
i want to do this
Taking advantage of the latter case, you may wish to create a “Clients” menu item in your site navigation, targeting yourdomain.com/ttg-be/crg/.
Client-managed galleries offer the full suite of CRG functionality.
Galleries are always password protected.
Galleries may be paginated.
Gallery feedback is saved in real-time. The client may log out of the gallery, and resume their work at a later time; see Saving below.
Gallery feedback may be closed after submission, preventing subsequent submissions from the same client; see Submission Status below.
Gallery feedback may be reviewed via email, or within the TTG BE admin area.
Gallery filters offer full functionality; see Filtering below.
The client does not need to enter their details for submissions, as this information already exists in the client's account.
Step 01.
i already create ("clients" http://clientes.paulobrandao.es/ttg-be/crg/ )
email: pbrandaodesign@gmail.com
psw: guest
in my site navigation http://paulobrandao.es/
I create a client profile and signed albums to my client in ...ttg-be/crg/
I will manage all my clients there.
Do i need to check all logins forms?
in CRG4 template? in auto index? In LR?
I have this options made by now.

when you create an album in Publisher, in the Integration Tab under Client Response Gallery, chose "Managed by CRG Admin" in the Client Management drop down.
In TTG-BE/CRG Admin under Clients, create a client and assign an album to that client. All albums that you've designated as "Managed by CRG Admin" will be available to assign to clients.

It works for me. Make sure you're not logged into ttg-be when conducting this test. When you're logged into ttg-be you have access to all your CRG managed albums without the need to log-in.

Are you referring to the password protection option in the plug-in (as well as the option in Publisher)? If so, CRG Client login is different and does not depend on the plug-in's (or Publisher) password protection option for CRG albums.
If you wish to password protect albums sets, you'll need to enable the template as well as enable in Publisher when creating an album set

this page is an exported and uploaded autoindex. The password protection is controlled by the Autoindex plug-in.
neither the page nor the login managed by Publisher

this login is tied in to and managed by the database in ttg-be. The album must be made by Publisher for client management to be available.
i create a guest client in Client Response Management in TTG-BE

If I understand what you're trying to say, you're not able to log out of a Client Response Gallery managed CRG album. Are you logged out of TTG-BE while you're testing this?
Try logging into a CRG in a different browser (don't log into ttg-be though) and see if there's a difference.
I believe the username must be a password, but Ben will have to confirm.

you can set an admin password so that you can get into any index or gallery (must also be set in CE4 Gallery)
and you can set a guest password for viewers to use to enter an index or gallery
Sorry, i asked if i can change the "email+psw form" to "user+psw" like this form sign in "http://clientes.paulobrandao.es/galleries/"
Like I said, I'm pretty sure that CRG managed clients need to use email + Password. You can't change the email to a username. As far as I know.
enter in http://clientes.paulobrandao.es/ttg-be/crg/
user - guest
email - guest@guest.com
psw - guestwhen you enter try to click on "salir" (exit)
No I can't. Maybe try using the same logout code that's used in the albums: "?a=logout"

No. You'll always get that look from the /ttg-be/crg/ link (at least for now)
But you can create an Album Set for a client and place their albums within it. Give them the url to the Album Set and they'll see a layout like you have on the Galleries page. When they click on an album they'll get the login form. When they logout of an album, they'll be taken to the CRG managed list like you see at /ttg-be/crg/

That's the same button in all my templates (salir "?a=logout"). I use this code, but there, don't result.
double check that. This is what the page source code is showing:
<li><a href="./?logout">Salir</a></li>
