I have a Wordpress webpage:
www.mydomain.com:
but it resides in a folder:
www.mydomain.com/folder
however, the root redirects to that folder, so when you type www.mydomain.com, it actually takes you to www.mydomain.com/folder, but it doesn't show at the address bar.
Considering this kind of a setup, where do I put the "galleries" and "ttg-be" folders, what do I select as my root directory when making templates?
Right now, I tried putting those folders to various locations but it just doesn't work anywhere.

the redirect might be a problem
where have you tried placing the ttg-be/ and galleries/ folder
as to the site root for your templates....that redirect again.
Perhaps Matt will have an idea

Redirects are a problem. You might try setting up a subdomain without redirect, and putting the TTG stuff there. Something like galleries.yourdomain.com might be appropriate.

Solved it. For anyone who might have the same problem:
Put your root as http://mydomain.com/folder/
And add ttg-be and galleries to your public_html folder
