Multiple Customers 1 Gallery

Hi,
I think this is most likely a dumb question. I did a shoot with 33 kids. I want to post all the photos to one gallery and give the url to all the parents to order. Will ALL these possible multiple log ins be ok?

thanks
JON

Re: Multiple Customers 1 Gallery

sure. It's no different than if you had a regular galley with prints for any visitor to order from.

Re: Multiple Customers 1 Gallery

I just didn't know if the multiple people logged in and sending at once would clog up the works. I am about to send a CRG that is TTG be managed to several people and am worried they will be saving at the same time and canceling each other at once. It saves as you go so I don't know what happens if multiple people save at once.

Re: Multiple Customers 1 Gallery

I don't know about logging in. Just sending the URL and having them visit shouldn't clog things up.

And I don't know about CRG log-in either. I doubt it will be a problem but Ben would have to address the specifics.

In case you didn't already know, CRG is not compatible with Cart.

Re: Multiple Customers 1 Gallery

ah smile

For the CRG album, are you setting up separate clients and assigning the album to each of them? If not, then I can imagine things getting...confused....

Re: Multiple Customers 1 Gallery

then publish the album as "Stand alone" rather than CRG managed and use the standard password protection.

Re: Multiple Customers 1 Gallery

i just love the save as you go. We've had so many clients accidently forget to hit submit and end up losing their changes, so I love the save as you go

If that's what you want, then you'll have to use the Client Response Management feature. With this option though, you won't be able to differentiate between who is making what selection, unless you instruct people to include their names in the message box when they submit their feedback.

Even so, selections and feedback from previous visitors may still be in the album when the next visitor logs in.

Re: Multiple Customers 1 Gallery

The proper way would be to create a separate login for each user. Unless Ben has changed something, once a logged-in client sends feedback, the gallery is locked down for that user and no further submissions are possible without photographer intervention.

For what you've described, then it may be best to setup the gallery as unmanaged.
