Hi,
when my client make a selection ... ever the order of the email list is not all progressive and without the etension (like .dng).
Look for example the last name Fin74.jpg
Example :
Fin03, Fin04, Fin84, Fin90, Fin94, Fin119, Fin120, Fin121, Fin155, Fin166, Fin180, Fin191, Fin202, Fin245, Fin257, Fin264, Fin286, Fin275, Fin400, Fin417, Fin444, Fin446, Fin471, Fin449, Fin521, Fin552, Fin591, Fin602, Fin610, Fin630, Fin670, Fin671, Fin718, Fin719, Fin720, Fin746, Fin749, Fin742, Fin752, Fin798, Fin842, Fin857, Fin885, Fin868, Fin897, Fin909, Fin911, Fin913, Fin917, Fin926, Fin934, Fin922, Fin941, Fin943, Fin952, Fin963, Fin964, Fin965, Fin966, Fin899, Fin900, Fin972, Fin995, Fin1101, Fin1100, Fin1112, Fin1117, Fin1120, Fin1126, Fin1129, Fin1141, Fin1148, Fin1155, Fin1159, Fin1168, Fin1172, Fin1178, Fin1190, Fin1199, Fin1204, Fin1210, Fin1273, Fin1302, Fin1492, Fin1500, Fin1541, Fin1547, Fin1551, Fin1586, Fin1566, Fin10, Fin56, Fin182, Fin975, Fin1147, Fin1124, Fin863, Fin898, Fin945, Fin74
So, I've to insert by hand .dng and make one by one a check to control.
Where is my fault ?
Thank you.

you don't need to insert .dng (also, dng's aren't exported by the web module or Publisher so those file extensions wouldn't be included anyway)
Just use the comma separated file names as given in the library filter and sort as you see fit in Lightroom.

Hi Rod,
thank you for response.
But I do not understand why the name of the file of choice that my client does me back ( email ) not put in sequential order .
Look at the list above ..

I haven't checked, but are they in the same order as they are presented in the gallery? If so, you could set up your galleries to present in sequential order
And in Lightroom, you can sort the search results by file name.

Probably reported in the order that feedback was added.

What I'm saying is that the order in the email shouldn't matter. When you paste all the file names into the Library Filter you can sort the search results by file name.

Hi Rod,
it is true, but i don't understandig why, Lightroom don't find ever all the photos from the email text.
So i've to search it by hand, and there is very important to have the "email text in name order".
I don't know why LR missing some files.
The name it's the same ...

If Lightroom can't find the files it may be more an issue of your file naming. Are you by chance having Publisher rename the files when you publish them (assuming you're using Publisher)
If so, then Lightroom won't know about them.
