galleria slideshow - number of images

I have several hundred images in a stage galleria album that's serving as my home page replacement. But it appears that the slideshow doesn't include all of the images (I have verified that they are all uploaded). I'm guessing that there is some kind of page size setting (akin to the number of thumbnails per page in a grid display), but I haven't been able to spot it. Is there such a thing, or perhaps just a limit on the size of galleria slideshows? Thanks.

according to the Galleria support pages there is no limit

There is no control in TTG to specifically limit the images unless Matt hard-coded it, but he'll have to address that.

Can you be more specific about the images that aren't showing up? Is it just specific images not showing or is it the case that only the first, say 100 are being used?

Several hundred is a lot and it might be affecting the browser.

Can you post a link?

Hi Rod - thanks for the prompt response. It's hard to be certain about what isn't showing up because I have the show randomized, but clicking through I think the number is 100 (out of about 400). I don't see how it could be a browser issue, but then again I don't have any idea about how this works underneath. The site is http://www.jshorephoto.com, and the galleria slideshow is a replacement show on the home page via stages.

Looking at the page source code it shows exactly 100 images being used in the show. So perhaps a limit has been coded in.

As far as the browser, I was thinking perhaps that if hundreds of images were loading that it might slow down or otherwise affect the browser.

Thanks Rod. Is there some way to change that? For me, a 100 image limit is a problem (and hard to understand why) - apart from that I'm loving CE4. Pretty much does what I want and is saving me boatloads of time!

as I said, there is no control in the plug-in, but Matt may have coded it that way. So you'll have to wait for him to weigh in.

Rod - on the create album form, there's an "items per page" dropdown! (duh!) The default is 100. I haven't tested it yet because (a) I edited the album down to 100 (b) along the way I broke something, still chasing.

But presumably that will work. If not, I'll post.

ah. I hadn't thought of that. I didn't think Galleria would be subject to the pagination limits.
