I am worried I am way over my head so maybe there is someone for hire with my final TTG task, embedding galleries in WP blog posts. So for the last month I have been getting up to speed on TTG and the more I use it, the more I learn, the more I love this application. I am still amazed at how fast the galleries load. http://photography.inmylens.com
I would like to have specific galleries, that I create in TTG/LR and publish, that I can embed into WP blog posts. This could even be a different TTG setup/install in a different directory so all these galleries would only be for blogs and therefore have the headers/footers removed per the TTG documentation.
Yes I have read the documentation and just get lost, I have very little web development knowledge.

So, not using iframes, is there a get your galleries into a wordpress blog post for dummies ;-)
Or is there anyone looking to make a few extra dollars that could help me get this setup?
Thanks
Brad

As far as I know, you cannot embed TTG albums in blog posts.
You can link to albums but you'd need to create those in the normal TTG manner.

Galleria slide show is included with Theme for WordPress, but you still need to upload the images via WordPress

ok thanks, it is just so nice being able to manage the galleries outside of WP with TTG.

Thanks! We think so too. That was one of the motivations that got us working on this stuff in the first place; WordPress is great, but not for managing large or active image collections.
Our galleries are designed to display as entire pages of their own, though, so cannot be embedded into WordPress pages. On the other hand, we do offer a WordPress theme -- customizable via Lightroom, like our galleries -- and which offers in-post gallery support. Rather than use WordPress's default gallery, which we dislike, we've coded our own. Not as robust as our dedicated gallery plugins, of course, but we think our in-post galleries nicely handle the task of running images in posts, while our separate galleries are meant for portfolio use.

Thank you Matthew.
I am looking into the wordpress theme as I type ;-), a lot more silly question to come.
So here is my first one, if I have TTG Galleries and TTG wordpress is there an integrated search that will show both blog and gallery results? Or do you have to embed a google search somehow?
Thanks again for all the help

No. WordPress and the other galleries are functionally separate.

you can provide separate search boxes, one for your galleries and one for your posts.
Graceson did just that: http://community.theturninggate.net/post/29676/#p29676
