I have a slideshow on www.peterblandford.com home page. Since I updated to CE4 it is a bit small on my retina macbook, I am pretty sure the settings are here
But I can't work out what the settings are for what settings I need for what I would like. I'd like to have landscape photos fill up the width of the screen and portrait photos to have the same height but have tram lines either side.
Can you help?

Looks okay to me. I'm not understanding what you see as a problem.

looks like your Galleria aspect ratio is set to 2:1. This means the slideshow container is 2:1 and the image will fit within that space. If you want your horizontals to fill more of the screen, try a 3:2 aspect ratio

Thanks guys, I think I am getting there, I have made the width of the page container "auto" and set the aspect ratio of the galleria slideshow to 5 : 4. I want to have fiddle with how landscape and portrait photos are treated but I don't understand what the fullscreencrop and imagecrop settings above do. Is there a link to a description?

Not sure what has happened but I have just noticed none of my galleries are now working, if I select any of my galleries I get the spinning disk and nothing else. I have recently updated the pages by uploading the new files with FTP.
Here is an example http://www.peterblandford.com/galleries/favourites/
Any ideas?

These are standard options for the Galleria slideshow. They control how the image fits into the slideshow viewport in standard and full-screen viewing modes.

There's an apostrophe in one of your file names. Use web-safe file names. We have an article on how to properly name your files for web-use, which is also just a part of good DAM.

Thanks Matt, what kind of file name would cause all of the galleries to stop working?

I think I may have uploaded some files to the wrong directory by accident, I may have to start again and upload files from scratch, maybe keeping the galleries in a temporary location?

OK, no idea what I did wrong but re creating the site and then copying all the galleries across by FTP fixed it!

If I do change the crop setting using CE4 pages, what files do I need to upload to get the update through?
Offline
not sure. Probably the galleria javascript file, maybe one of the css files? To be safe, just upload the entire /lib/ folder. To be double extra safe, upload all of Pages.
