I need to know if there is a TTG Lightroom plug-in available that makes it possible to zoom in on an image to see a closeup view of the actual image. I've seen this a couple of times on some other sites (e-commerce sites mainly). Kind of like this http://www.simons.ca/eng/product/neon_t … 5669-4928. I've been using TTG Slimbox Gallery 2,71. I don't mind upgrading or buying a new plug-in from TTG as I find they are quality product.
Just to make sure that my request is clear. In this site http://www.combustionchamber.com/photosperso/20130117/ if you were to click on any thumbnail it would show the image full size, which is what is expected. But then, once an image is showing full size, I'd like to be able to zoom in on this particular image further so that I could see the details of the sculpture's face for instance. The width and height of the image could be fixed but I'd have to ability, by mousing over, to browse around a closer view of the image.
Feasible?
thank you

The "closer view" of an image is just a larger image. If you export very large images using the Highslide gallery, Highslide will downscale the image to fit within the viewport and provide an "actual size" button that will display the image at it's natural size, in effect "zooming in" to allow closer inspection of details.

Matthew,
thank you for the quick response. I purchased CE2 Highslide 4.2.4.
WOW, extreme control. My problem is that I'm not sure where to begin.
Am I doing this right if I increase the Large Width and Large Height inside Output Settings, Image Renditions? Is this what you were suggesting?
thanks

Start at the top. And yes, just set large image sizes in the Output Settings.

OK got it. It gives me the ability to display a much larger image indeed once I click the Resize button, but I was hoping for a slightly different behavior. If it is technically possible I'd like to suggest something like this for a future update : once the first image has been clicked on I'd like to have the ability, *within the same viewport*, to zoom in and move around the image. Right now if I click on the image it goes back to the Grid view. Tell me what you think: it this feasible? Without involving Flash?
thank you!

Actually here's a product that captures mostly what I have in mind http://www.magictoolbox.com/magiczoomplus/
In that example as soon as you hover over the image you get a larger view to the right. If you click you get the equivalent of your Resize button and if you click again you go back to the Grid.
What I would suggest is this:
1. Click on the first image gets you from Gird View to Image View - no changes there from what you're currently doing.
2. In Image View, there would now be the ability to hover over the image, with the mouse changing from a zoom out icon to a zoom in icon and get the equivalent of what Magic Zoom provides: a larger view to the right would appear - this is new
3. Now if we were to click again inside Image View we would have the equivalent of the current Resize button
4. Click again and we'd be back in Image view
5. The Escape key would return us to the Grid view

There are so many reasons that's not going to happen, first of which being that I think the way we're doing things now is perfectly adequate. But feel free to go use that other thing if you prefer it.

Actually the reason I was suggesting all of this was because your product is well integrated with LightRoom which is what I'm looking for. I was just trying to suggest a new feature set to your product. I didn't mean to offend you. Sorry if I did.
