Hi,
I just redid my CE3 Pages page in Pages CE4. For the galleries in CE3 I used the elegance theme, but that does not seem to scale well with mobile devices.
So I just purchased TTG CE4 Gallery and am puzzeld, because everything looks like Pages CE4 in the adjustment pane?¿? Do I have to redo my whole page in Gallery CE4 now? Why did I buy Pages in the first place then, if Gallery includes that basically? What am I missing here?
I thought that I would just design the look of my galleries in the CE4 Gallery module, export them and drop them into the gallery folder on the server. That's how it used to be with the elegance theme.
I would greatly appreciate some enlightment on this matter! I spend a hell of a lot of time redoing my site in Pages CE4 and would hate to have to do all that again in Gallery.
Thanks and cheers
Peter

the controls throughout the TTG plugins are similar.
Are you expecting your CE4 Galleries to automatically look like what you designed in Pages? It doesn't work that way. What you set in Pages isn't automatically applied to all other ttg plugins.
But you can take those Pages settings and apply them to a Gallery user template following these instructions:

Matt also has provided pre-made templates for different designs. You can download those here: http://ce4.theturninggate.net/docs/doku … _downloads

Hi Rod,
ok, the structure seems to dawn on me slowly....;-)
The copy and paste from the template worked great! I will look at the other templates now.
Thanks for your help and an amazingly fast response!
Cheers
