I have the CE4 Blog & Galleries Bundle.
I've made up the Auto Index template and Gallery Template which looks okay.
Haven't done anything else yet with regard to other pages. Those two Templates and everything else is loaded up on Bluehost. But for some reason when I go to load up images/albums to test online I get this warning:
Unable to perform action: listTemplates
Message: Could not find template directory: ./../ templates gallery
Yet all files are all in place on the server.
Here's the ftp directories:

ftp addressed don't do us any good. But URLs do. So this is the url to the first link you provided:
http://nigelandrews.net/ttg-be/templates/gallery/
if you go to that url you'll see a gallery page. However, you shouldn't be. For use in publisher, gallery templates (the entire exported folder) need to be uploaded to the /ttg-be/gallery/ folder.
Let's say you name your gallery template "my-gallery-template". Upload the entire exported "my-gallery-template" folder to the /ttg-be/templates/gallery/ folder so you'll have /ttg-be/templates/gallery/my-gallery-template/
Same rules apply for autoindexes. Upload the entire exported folder to ttg-be/templates/autoindex/

In a bit of a panic here.
After my initial query I amended as your direction and the gallery pages were working fine. I altered the email contact at the bottom of the page and now it can't find the gallery template? The autoindex page doesn't display as an index just an empty page display.

I've re-saved and reloaded twice now and it still can't find the template?

The gallery pages are sorted.
But the autoindex page doesn't display as an index? You can load the page via the absolute url, but it's the raw page as made up in Lightroom without the album thumbnails.
