Installing plugins

Hello,
Hoping for a bit of help:
I am installing on shared hosting but am not able to see my homepage. I think I have installed correctly but am baffled as to why whenever I type in the home domain I get straight to my admin login page?

Thanks

Re: Installing plugins

More info please.
What steps have you taken?
Are you having problems installing in LR?
Or the online TTG-BE component?
Can you post a link to your site?

Re: Installing plugins

I have installed on my server following the video instructions, however when I come to the CE4 pages part I do not have those files in my download (even though I have the CE 4 pages component) that is mainly what is throwing me out.

Re: Installing plugins

Are you saying you didn't recieve CE4 Pages? Did you buy a bundle? Which one?

If you haven't received what you purchased you can try downloading again from here
http://theturninggate.fetchapp.com/orders
Using your order number and the email address you used

What have you installed on the server?

Re: Installing plugins

I bought the web publishing bundle, when I unzip CE4 pages it just gives me LR web engine titled gallery. I don't understand how to use that?
I followed the video tutorial and installed all the files on my server and have been able to configure the admin and the publisher admin.

Re: Installing plugins

When you unzip the Pages package you should have a file named CE4-Pages.lrwebengine
Likewise, nwhen your unzip the CE4 Gallery zip folder you'll have a folder named CE4-Gallery.lrwebengine

These get installed in a folder on your computer. The location of that folder depends on your OS.

Re: Installing plugins

I have just checked and those are, indeed installed in my Lightroom/webgalleries folder. I still do not understand how I find the files that are illustrated in the video and put those on my server? Or do I, somehow, create something from Lightroom?

Re: Installing plugins

Exactly which files are you referring to?

the online components are ttg-be and Publisher.

Then you need to upload a gallery template. Do this by first exporting a gallery from Lightroom. Then upload the entire exported gallery folder to /ttg-be/templates/gallery

To see your site on line you'll need to design Pages in the Web Module and then export and upload the files within the exported folder to the root of your site.

Be sure to see this beginner's tutorial: http://ce4.theturninggate.net/docs/doku.php?id=ce4_101
As well as the Publisher documentation: http://ce4.theturninggate.net/docs/doku … _publisher

Re: Installing plugins

I've re-done the install and now have a site up and running.
At the moment I have one small issue: after changing the colour of the type in the web module and exporting it does not show in the colours I want on the live site. Other changes, such as adding the social buttons work!

Re: Installing plugins

After exporting did you upload again?
Is you're ftp program set up to overwrite?
Which text did you change? (There are several places you can change text color)

Go ahead and post a link to your site

Re: Installing plugins

I have got my site running. However for some obscure reason although I am able to create and publish albums OK I can't move albums into an album set and consequently can't publish that set?

Re: Installing plugins

can you repost your problem under the CE4 Publisher topic where Ben is more likely to see it. Please include links to your site and see this page:

are you first publishing a set and then trying to move albums into it?
