My album art looks strange.

Why is the image in albums windows of such poor quality ?

it's because the autoindex (your Galleries page) uses the thumbnails from the albums within. Those thumbnails are smaller than what you've designed for on your Galleries page so they're being sized to fit the container, pixelating them.

You're also using the Iconic layout and thumbnails will fill the container. So the small thumbnails from your albums are trying to fill a larger space.

The Iconic layout is better suited to custom thumbnails.

You can either increase the size of your album thumbnails to match the design for the Galleries page (which would require republishing all images) or create custom thumbnails or choose the Descriptive layout

Place your custom thumbs in the custom-thumbnails/ folder inside of the galleries/ folder and select the cover image to represent the album from the album set up.
