After upgrading from CRG CE3 to CRG CE4 i cannot find anymore the button to enable the geolocalisation icon and functionality in the gallery. Is it lost or am I too blind to find it?
thanks

it isn't in CE4 CRG. It's in CE4 Gallery though.

You mean it moved from CE-3 CRG to CE-4 Gallery? Do i need to buy the gallery modul for this one feature, which i had in previous versions of CRG included? And if i did, is the feature "Google Maps" enabled when creating a CRG?
thanks

CE4 CRG does not have maps support. The gallery has been streamlined somewhat to focus on client proofing functions. To me, maps support feels more like a permanent display feature, and is not particularly relevant to the client proofing experience. This is a case of getting the kitchen sink out of the bedroom.
If you have a contrarian case to make, I'm all ears.

Hi Matthew,
thanks you for clearifying that this feature is not anymore part of the CRG and why.
My customers are architects and builders who love to see the exact point of view from which their pictures are taken. And they love the download function and the comments.
And i love getting the list of wanted or altered images by email. How can I get all this things together in a gallery? ( I will be happy to buy the gallery modul as well - if necessary and helpful)
And in general the role of geolocalisation of pictures will increase and soon will be a "must have" for distributors, agencies and automated processing of images. Therefore the quick way to verify the existence of geo data by displaying them with one click would be great and would not thicken CRG UI too much - or?
