Editing 'Page Copy (md)' glitch

Adding text to the 'Page Copy (md)' text box is nearly impossible as pressing Return to enter a new line will close the dialogue box. I've tried Shift-Return and CTRL-Return but in both cases it will close the box. How do you actually enter text with new lines into this box without closing it.

This problem has been there for quite a while but since the new introduction of the very useful 'Place Copy Placement' feature it's even more annoying.

At the moment I have to edit the text in a separate editor and paste it in.

I'm sure there is a way - just couldn't figure it out.

Re: Editing 'Page Copy (md)' glitch

If you're using Windows there's no way to use the enter key in the Publisher Page Copy dialog boxes, it's a LR Win thing. It's always been that way for me.
Using a plain text editor and pasting in the text is the easiest/only way.

using an editor has its advantages. I find it easier to write in a text editor, especially if I need to use any html

Re: Editing 'Page Copy (md)' glitch

I use a dedicated markdown editor and then just copy&paste the md text. Works well for me. I am on a Mac and use mou.app. For Windows, several editors exists; markdownpad is one of them.
