Correct Target in Gallery

I am lost here.  Things seem to work, then I make a minor change (like add a thumbnail) and then I get 404 errors.  Here's the situation.  I have a "Clubs" menu item which is an autoindex.  My folder structure is

blog
cart
...
clubs
    autoindex club 1
         gallery club 1
         ...
fragments
galleries
    gallery 1
    autoindex 1
        gallery 2
        ...
...
ttg-be

My site root is defined as http://mysite.com/photo-now/
The TTG files are all under the photo-now folder
I am using Publisher

All links from the menus in Pages work correctly.  However, when I select "Clubs" I can no longer navigate back to "Clubs" from a gallery.  I am able to get to any "Pages" page.   Under (Pages) navigation for clubs, I have the target as /clubs/

In my autoindices and galleries for the various clubs photos I have tried every combination for the target for Clubs that I can think of.  I have used clubs with no leading slash, /clubs/, http://mysite.com/photo-now/clubs, etc.  Regardless of what I put there, the target becomes http:/mysite.com/photo-now/name of gallery/clubs or http://mysite.com/clubs without the required "photo-now" level.

I am totally unable to get the Clubs menu item to function.  It worked earlier today.  All I changed were some thumbnails and text.

It would be really helpful to have a concise definition of what the target path definitions are in relation to the site root (in Pages as well as in other modules).  I am also lost in trying to embed images in my text.  It doesn't seem to be consistent as to where it is looking for the images.  I ended up including the entire URL to the images to make it work.  Otherwise, it seems to look in random places (based on looking at the URL for the blank image space).  Before the upgrade to the latest publisher (220b), gallery (614a), and ttg-be (203), using "/clubs/" in my target seemed to work.  However, I was unable to edit albums or album sets.  Now I can edit them, but the behavior seems to be erratic.

Any assistance would be appreciated.

EDIT: Solved it.  Since I have multiple sub-domains on my hosting site, my root path for the TTG site is

     http://mysite.com/photo-now

I have defined the site root as http://mysite.com/photo-now/  I had assumed that everything would be relative to that folder.  That seems to be the case for Pages pages, but my Clubs pages do not seem to abide by that definition.  By defining the target to be

     /photo-now/clubs

everything appears to be working now.

Using the full url is the sure way. Otherwise, you're using relative urls. If you have a path to the thumbnail as scr="photos/image.jpg" the browser will look for the "photos/" folder in the same folder as the page.
It all depends on the path you enter in the html. You just have to know that path.
