I need to take a gallery down and replace it with something else. Publisher says it can't find it. Do you just delete the gallery in galleries, or is there something else that should be removed as well?
Hope you aren't getting tired of my questions!

You need to delete any albums you've created with Publisher from Publisher. If you delete them from the server via FTP Publisher still thinks they're there.
If the gallery wasn't created by Publisher, then just delete it from the server.
What steps have you taken so far?

I deleted the album online by mistake. Is there a way to tell Publisher it isn't there anymore?

You could try recreating the exact same album. If that works, then delete it with Publisher. If it doesn't, you'll probably have to delete the entry in the database.
If that's sounds scary, then you could send Ben a PM with your ttg-be admin credentials and ask him to fix it for you.

Well, what's involved in deleting it from the database?

on the TTG-BE admin screen there's a link to phpLiteAdmin. I believe the password is just "admin"
Once in there you'll see a column on the left that lists databases. The Publisher database is called publisher/master.sq3
You'll click on that and then you'll see below that the tables for publisher/master.sq3
It's the album table that contains all the album and album set references. Click on that and you should see a list of all your albums and sets. Each one has a delete link in red.
Proceed at your own risk

I'll take a look. If I get cold feet I'll call Matt and beg for mercy!

OK, it's complaining about some kind of globals being on, "which is bad." I'll ask Matthew. How do I send him a message?

You can look for any of his posts, there are email and PM links under his picture.
You can find his contact info by searching in the User List, link to that is in the menu bar at the top of the forum./
You can go to the Support Page and click on the contact link
He may just refer you to Ben so you might also want to contact Ben

Thanks again Rob. Just one other minor thing if that's OK. I'm working on galleries and when I have them ready to go they look fine, like this:
But when I publish the gallery it looks like this:
http://creepyhouse.net/galleries/El-Rey … umentation
The description is missing and the images aren't formatted correctly. Is this the template? I did update it. The settings in Publisher?

text for Albums and Album Sets can be entered in the Page Copy field in the album create/edit dialog box (second tab)
There's an option for including the template text as well.
I find it easier to write and format the text in a text editor and then paste it into the Page Copy field. If you're a Windows user, adding text to the box is a pain in the ass, there's no way to add line breaks.
If you've change image size settings after initially publishing, you'll need to republish the images. Make sure that the "Push Metadata..." box in unchecked in Publisher setup

Thanks. I just edit the text in Dreamweaver and copy and paste, so it's no big deal. I'll change the settings you recommend.

Rob, I've tried the changes you suggested. but when I publish the gallery still shows up without any of the formatting changes I've specified in Publisher. The thumbnails should be larger and have a order and background color. The social media buttons should be much larger.

one thing I noticed is that the gallery is using Shared Resources with TTG CE4 Pages.
I think the styling for the social buttons comes from the shared resources.
So look at the styling you have in Pages.
Also, since you're using shared resources you should always make sure you're running the latest version of Pages. The current version is 7.0.12 and you're running 7.0.11

OK, I am officially pounding my head on the wall. I am still having the same problem as above. I'm going to post this in a separate thread.
