I've developed a number of galleries which are on my website: http://www.martinjenichphotography.com/galleries.php. I want some metadata and watermark to show up in the images on my site. I have the boxes checked for meta data 1 and watermark and both show up on the images when I'm in CE4 gallery. However, when I go to the Library module in preparation for publishing I get the image only. Of course nothing shows up on my site either. I checked the settings in Publisher>edit settings>Features and unchecked the box and indicating I should exclude the watermarks in thumbnails. I also made sure I had the correct copyright in the drop down box directly above that check box. Finally I made sure the the folder in TTG-BE had all the latest settings in CE4Gallery. But all those seen to be "downstream" from the problem. I think the problem is more an LR problem than CE4. That's because the problem first shows up when I switch from the Web gallery to Library. Any ideas.

make sure you've set up the metadata in the Publisher Setting of CE4 Gallery's Output Settings as well.

Sounds like you need to set your View options in the Library
Library > View > View Options

The settings in Publisher Settings and Image Info are consistent. There was no change. The watermark and file name show up in images in gallery in the web module. But when I go to the Library module the water mark or file name don't show. Also,
The view>view options seem to be related to information when viewed in LR only. Plus there is no option for watermarking. I tried the copyright option but that did not work either. Any other ideas?

Yes. You said the info wasn't showing up in Library. View Info is how you get it to appear in both thumbnails view and Loupe view.
Watermarks won't show on images in Library.
Exactly where are you wanting to see the info you're missing? Can you provide a screen shot?
If you make metadata changes to albums that are already online you'll need to republish the images

My goal is to have both the watermark and the file name (in my case it's mainly a series of letters and numbers) to be displayed on each image on my website. I created a Test Gallery in CE4 Gallery. Both the watermark and the file name are displayed. So I think I have the correct settings in Gallery. I updated the settings. When I move to the Library module (to publish) both do not show up in the images. I get that the watermark and probably the file name will not show up in the library module as you described above. I went ahead and published the Test Gallery and neither the watermark nor the file name appear. Here's my Test Gallery on my site: http://www.martinjenichphotography.com/ … ages-slug/
I've played around with the View>View Options menu and they appear to just show the metadata fore each file while in LR. That's helpful but not for these purposes.

Yep, the view options are just for Library and won't translate to the Web Module.
Chances are you just need to republish the images. If you only make metadata changes to the template, like adding captions and file names to the metadata display, you can go into the Publisher settings and check the "Push Metadata..." check box. This will be quicker than completely republishing images.
For watermarks though, you'll need to completely republish the images for the watermarks to show up.
did you re-export and upload your MartysTestGallery1207 template too? the reason I ask is that the gallery you're using for the template isn't showing any metadata on the thumbnail or the large image. Nor is there a watermark

Also, did you enable Watermarks in Publisher setup?

I got it. The problem was with "MartysTestGallery1207". I uploaded the new gallery a few days ago with the changes and saw no change. Here's the workflow that worked today. On export "MartysTestGallery1207" from LR to my desktop I made sure I simply did not overwrite an existing file. It's possible that's where the problem occurred. In other words the settings were not changed at all when I uploaded it. Or it could have occurred on the upload to my site. This time I checked "overwrite if newer". What ever it worked. I have another question just because I'm curious.
Where is Publisher Settings? I've looked in Output Settings and it has only "Publisher Setup". Plus there is no box to check to" Push Metadata". I've also looked through all the settings in CE4 Gallery and for the heck of it in CE4 Pages and found nothing. In TTG-BE there is "Publisher Settings" but no check box for "Push Metadata".

I spoke too soon. I took an existing Gallery (10 Fest) and uploaded it with the new settings. The same settings as "MartysTestGallery1207". No watermark or metadata appeared on any of the images. I tried hitting the Control/F5 key and got no change. I don't get it.

Where is Publisher Settings?
In Library > Publish Services either double click on the Publisher instance or right click and choose Edit Settings (this is where you originally set up the Publisher plug-in)

your "MartysTestGallery1207" still doesn't show any metadata in the thumbnail or large image.

I got it this time and all my galleries are updated. But I have a few questions. I'm just curious in reference to your comment above, Can I see the metadata in the thumbnail and large images in "MartysTest..." by looking in Fille Zilla and clicking through the file. if so, what do I look for?
Also, on a few of the Galleries that I just updated some of the new Album descriptions or titles did not show up on my site. I made some minor changes. I updated with new settings and that did not help. Any thoughts?
Finally, when using Markdown to add information to Album title, description and thumbnail in Color palette, do you recommend always using Markdown for every single entry? And when cutting and pasting, do I "copy HTML" or just "copy" or doesn't' it matter?

you can see the metadata in the page source code. You can also right click on a large image and view image info. There's no access to embedded metadata from Filezilla.

Not sure. Are you talking about albums or your galleries that are used as Publisher templates (titles and descriptions are irrelevant in Publisher templates)? can you provide a link to any problem albums?
Markdown is only for those fields marked with (md), like the Page Copy field. It's not for anything in the Color Palette's Album Info area. That just needs to be plain text. No html either.
