Hi folks. I’ve made a lot of progress putting my new TTG site together and getting it ready to go live. I have however a question about best practices in file organization. My wife and I share a common online ftp location, so I have put all of my own website work into a directory called D_Site. In that is ttg-be and galleries. I am using CE4Pages to create the main webpage for my site and CE4Galleries to put together all the galleries that will branch off of that. Here’s my question.
Should I organize the directories so that the Main directory is at the same level as Galleries, like this:
Or should I have the Main site inside Galleries?
Let me know what you think. Thanks!

When you export Pages, a folder named "galleries" is created.
For your set up, just upload the entire contents of the Pages export (all the files within the exported folder, not the folder itself) to your /D_Site folder. Place ttg-be in /D_Site as well.
your folder structure will look like what Matt shows here: http://ce4.theturninggate.net/docs/doku … tion_setup
In Pages, as well as all your other exports, the Site Root (found in Site Info > Page Setup) will be /D_Site/ (unless D_Site is going to be a sub-domain, then just use / )

With /ttg-be and /galleries where they are, it would be best if you had a domain or subdomain that resolved to the /D_Site location as the top-level ("/") of your site.

Thanks again guys. Matt, I'm looking into getting a domain for this site.
