Hello.
I have a question. Presently I am still using CE3. In the thumbnails of my galleries there is the gps maps icon below the small image. I activated it with the image info label.
Now I want to make my page new with CE4. But there I can not get the maps icon into the thumbnail. Regardless of the activated label in the image info, it is not there. How can I get that back?
Thanks a lot for your help.
Regards Kai

I really prefer to eliminate clutter from the grid. Keeping it with the large image serves that purpose, as well as making the button available in the mobile slideshow (the icon does fit into the mobile grid layout).
Is there some compelling reason to have it in the grid?

Hi Matt.
I think it is like always. You have a version where it is in and you find it nice and use it. So you are used to it and when a new version is coming without it you miss that feature.
The question is why taking out an option, because everybody can decide individual if he wants to use it or not.
My pictures will be seen from friends and relatives. I am going around the world and make pictures. So to see a picture in the overview and just clicking on the maps icon to see where this place is is quite nice. And you also don't have to go in each picture to check if there is a GPS coordinate. You can see it already in the grid.
So I miss that function.
And beside that, isn't it possible anymore to make a shadow behind the galleria slideshow?
Thanks Matt. Regards Kai

It was removed to streamline the gallery interface, and because the large-image presentations were significantly improved for all devices, so that the map icon could be accessible from the large-image view even on phones.
