Question on a gallery layout

Hi,

In CE3 I used to have my gallery set so that a person could select several images to enlarge within the gallery. That way they might be able to compare side by side several images at a time.

Is that still an option within the gallery page? .. if so, what do I check in lightroom web to enable this?

Thank you!
Kristen

Re: Question on a gallery layout

Hi Kristen,

Looks like Highslide comparative is no longer an option

Re: Question on a gallery layout

The comparative view wasn't used much in the standard Gallery, and was only included in previous versions as a result of being a part of the shared code base with Client Response Gallery.

As Client Response Gallery is to be last out of the gate for CE4, that part of the code base does not presently exist.

Comparative will be a part of the CRG, but will probably not be making its way into Gallery unless there is some compelling reason for me to add it.

Re: Question on a gallery layout

Thank you Matthew.

What I was looking for in it was the ability to create mock ups for people of their room .. then they can click on images and pull them over to their room, as if adding a piece of art to their walls.

Such as this : http://kristenwestlake.net/clients/woody/
This client wants to see more images and how they might look on his wall. With the comparative gallery he could enlarge the room view and then drag images on top of the wall to get an idea of how artwork will look.
