New CE 4 Site

After a long but satisfying process, I have launched my new website using CE 4 components.  www.schwartzphoto.com

Although sometimes a challenge, eventually it worked.   Beside the CE 4 setup generally, I think "Publisher" is simply magic.

If anyone sees any glitches or weirdness, please let me know.

Thanks, Matt.

Re: New CE 4 Site

Great work. I personally really enjoyed looking through the Travel and Landscapes galleries.

Regarding the "Recent Work" section, I wonder if a different way of managing the section might be advantageous. Right now, it looks like you have two publisher instance, one targeting /galleries and another targeting /recent_work.

I think you can probably do this with one instance. Eliminate the /recent_work instance, and instead publish the "recent_work" (slug) gallery under /galleries, as with your other image galleries.

In the album setup, hide the Recent Work gallery from the auto index, and maybe disable breadcrumbs as well (if you want to hide the fact that it's under the /galleries section, while being not navigable from the Galleries page).

For the navigation menu, point the "Recent Work" item at /galleries/recent_work.

This would allow you to easily graduate "Cuba 2014" from Recent Work to Travel, simply by dragging the album in Publish Services.

Of course, then you might not get Recent Work > Cuba 2014 breadcrumbs for the gallery while it's under the /recent_work location, so I guess there's a small tradeoff, so it's up to you whether or not that's important.

Re: New CE 4 Site

Thanks for the nice feedback, Matthew.  I hadn't realized I could accomplish all this with a single publisher instance.  Good to know.  However, since it isn't broken at this point, I think I will leave "recent work" as is for now.
