Auto Flip Gallery

Hi,
If I wanted to use Stage to automate my flip gallery (CE4 Pages-based), would I have to start from scratch, or could Stage automate the flip gallery I am already using?  There seems to be about zero documentation on how to do anything with Stage.

Thx,
Randy Hoffner

Re: Auto Flip Gallery

set the Pages gallery to be controlled by Publisher. Here's a tutorial:

Re: Auto Flip Gallery

Okay, so here is what happened when I made a Stage template.  When I selected "Full Page Flip", all was well.  It seemed to work in LR the same as the Pages full page flip gallery.  When I selected "Auto", the images flipped automatically in LR preview, but they were squeezed into the left half of the screen, and I mean squeezed.  I didnt try uploading this to the website.

Oregon Ducks.  Hawks?

Re: Auto Flip Gallery

Seattle Seahawks!
You know, Superbowl champs and all?

I'm seeing the same problem when selecting Full Screen: Auto
this will be something Matt needs to look at.

Full Screen: Flip works fine though.

Re: Auto Flip Gallery

Okay.  Do I have to do anything to make that happen?

Yes, heard of them.  Wasn't thinking NFL.  Go Eagles!

Re: Auto Flip Gallery

I just exported a test page and viewed it locally in WAMP. It looks fine. My guess is that Lightroom can't handle the css that's being used to display the slideshow and so is displaying the skinny weirdness that we're seeing.
And it may also be OS related. I'm on Windows 7 Pro. Could be it works fine in Lightroom on Macs?

Anyway, try exporting and uploading and see what you get.

Re: Auto Flip Gallery

Yes, it does work fine on the website.  That warning should accompany instructions, shouldn't it?

Re: Auto Flip Gallery

It's a pretty new feature so this may be the first time it's been encountered. And if it doesn't show up on a Mac (I believe that's what Matt's developing on) then he probably didn't know about it.

Re: Auto Flip Gallery

LR5 just can't display it. It's fine online.
