I have had the publisher-driven homepage working fine for many weeks. Today I made a minor tweak - trying to add some whitespace between the filmstrip and the galleria slideshow - reloaded the template into the ttg-be galleries template area, republished the front page and when I refreshed it in the browser - the content area is blank. No slideshow, no filmstrip. I reloaded my backup copy of the old gallery template for pages-gallery, republished - and I'm still getting nothing.
Looking at the source code of the front page I see a lot of references to the images, but I'm baffled as to why they aren't showing. The website is www.artoftewild.co.uk. Any suggestions as to how to debug this?

sorry - web address should be www.artofthewild.co.uk.

could be the brackets [ ] you have in the description for IMG_2723m1.jpg. That could be causing a problem with the javascript, as brackets have a specific use.

Hi, I've looked at your page and found an error in the JavaScript. Specifically, it's failing to handle the line breaks in this description:
Oxeye Daisy,
Leucanthemum vulgare
Shot in the field
I suspect this error is causing the problem with the blank home page gallery. We'll need to investigate why that is causing an issue and how (or whether) we can fix it. In the mean time, can you try updating the description so that it doesn't include line breaks?

Thanks all - that did it. The square brackets have been with the image for a long time, and the image has been published before - it seems that the publish to pages gallery route is affected by them while simply publication to a gallery isn't.

have the images with brackets been published in a Galleria slide show before, or just a regular gallery?
