Publisher upload error

Hi – I accidentally deleted a couple of albums from my server, and now Publisher cannot republish them.  I am marking the album to republish, then clicking Publish Now, but I get a publisher error:  Unable to perform Action: uploadRendition. Message:  path was not found…..

I recreated the Slug directory on the server but had no luck. Can anybody help me understand how to republish my albums?

- Jim

Re: Publisher upload error

I did accidentally delete the subdirectories via FTP.  The parent directory is http://www.jimsweeneyimages.com/galleri … ntimages/.  Right now the problem subdirectories do not exist, but others do.  Hope that helps Ben!

Re: Publisher upload error

Will probably require some database correction. You deleted the files and folders from server, but Publisher still thinks they exist because your database and your server are now out-of-sync. How to fix this, I do not know; it's above my security clearance. You will need to wait for Ben to chime in.

Re: Publisher upload error

The golden rule is to never touch the files within your publisher-managed directories.

It may help you get back-on-track if you re-create the missing directories via FTP, and then attempt to create or publish to them again.
If that fails, then some database work may be in order.  I can help you out with this via the PHPLiteAdmin page available from your admin.  I would need you to provide me with your TTG Be admin login, as the guest login is not able to access the PHPLiteAdmin page, even if set to have full admin privileges.  If that's fine with you, then please send me your admin login via Personal Message (via the PM link on the top-right of the forum) or via Email using the link below my picture.

Re: Publisher upload error

Hi Ben,  I did try to recreate the directories and republish, with no success.  I will send you a private message with some details for the TTG BE access.

Thanks,
Jim

Re: Publisher upload error

Ben was able to help me through getting the server database and Lightroom back in snyc.  The moral is to always let Publisher maintain directories and files in managed galleries.

Thanks Ben!
