Here two examples how I intend to use this great feature:
http://www.fotowarkstee.de/galleries/bi … r-compare/
This example compares a Lesser and a Greater Sandplover, two birds, which very diffcult to distinguish in the field
http://www.fotowarkstee.de/galleries/bi … d-compare/
This example compares a male and a female Golden Shouldered Parrot. Really cool.
This application is probably of little to no interest from a pure photography point of view, but brilliant for birders who want to run an A/B comparison.
The fastest, most elegant and efficient way of doing this I have come across so far. Much, much better than simply switch between two photos or compose one photo from two shots.
Looking forward to get the final version :-) !

It's not even officially released yet, and already you're using it in ways I hadn't anticipated ...
For what it's worth, though, unless we find something broken, I'm pretty sure these features are now complete in Beta 2. Subsequent updates will just add more stuff. So there's not much reason to wait for the final version to start using the TwentyTwenty presentation, unless we find something needs fixing.

I'll be implementing as soon as I can find the time. It's great for my "lessons" pages:

Here is a little story told via twenty - twenty. I enjoy exploring the options.

To be put on Matt's wishlist (although expecting it to be not possible): Make the Labels Publisher controlled. I am afraid I need to create too many templates otherwise.

Nice! (not for the little possum, of course)

You are coming up with some great (and original) ways to use 20/20. Very impressive!

Rather, I think I'll add an option to hide the overlay and labels. In a case such as this, I think we might be better off without it.

I have tidied up my galleries and removed some and replaced the quick and dirty trial versions with the final ones, so some of the links from earlier postings will not work anymore. These two using the twenty-twenty function are remaining for the time being:

@ Matthew: I can easily live with whatever the final solution is. Thanks again for the product and should I have had doubts whether the update would be worth it - not anymore!

Next build, the overlays to which you are already accustomed, an alternate overlay style, and an option to hide overlays altogether. The alternate is inspired by your storyboarding idea, and here's what it looks like:
http://campagnapictures.com/private/storyboarding/
That's with the slider offset at 35%. I'm increasing the fine control on the slider from 10% steps, to the full 0-100 range. Personally, I don't like it at the 0 or 100 extremes, as I like it to be visually obvious, "Hey, here's a thing you can interact with." But the finer range will allow you to line up the slider with storyboard frames if that's what you're doing, and then the label can be a title or a call to action, such as "Pull >>" ...

I've had many questions about High Dynamic Range (HDR) processing. I use it in several high contrast situations. The twenty twenty gallery is a perfect way to illustrate it, and thanks for including it.
