Navigation Hyperlinks

When I add in my own navigation hyperlinks they don't work like the built-in links. I get. I get the following message;

Not Found

The requested URL /video_galleries was not found on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

I notice that it does not have the .php on the end, but I don't know how to fix this.

Thanks.

Re: Navigation Hyperlinks

can't really tell much without seeing it. Can you post a link to your site?

Re: Navigation Hyperlinks

what is Video Galleries suppose to be? Is it an existing page? Do you have a direct link to it you can post?

Re: Navigation Hyperlinks

also, in any case, the navigation is incorrect. You've got "video_galleries" as the URL. Assuming that's going to be a folder with an index page inside of it, the url will need to be /video_galleries.

and just taking a guess here: Were you thinking that adding the navigation item would create the page? Pages creates only the six pages.
Most people adding a video gallery use Autoindex to create an index page for the videos and Stage to house the actual videos.

If that's what you want to do, then use Autoindex and name the export "video_galleries". Upload that to the root of your site and you'll have your Video Galleries page. Then populate it with Stage pages containing your videos.

To style Autoindex and Stage pages like the rest of your site, see this: http://ce4.theturninggate.net/docs/doku … _templates
