For some reason when I make changes in the Album setup for auto index setting section of my CE4 pages module they are not being reflected on my website. The do show in Lightroom. Prior to installing CE4 pages I was playing around with just CE4 index module and then decided to get the Page module. I'm wondering if somehow CE4 pages is still using the earlier auto index plug in. Actually my site seems to be working fine (I think) except for this issue. I am using Publisher to upload albums to the site. I have the latest updates installed.
Thanks

[Please disregard message above. For some reason all is well now.

That sounds like a cache issue. If it happens again, try clearing your browser's cache.

It did happen again. I make changes to the album setup(ie; Album background color on the gallery page) in CE4 Page, they show in lightroom fine, I then export and use filezilla to upload to my site. I have a clean browser cache and history. I repeat the process a couple times always making sure I update template, etc. The changes do not show up on the web page.
Finally, I decide to mess with publisher and republish several of my Lightroom albums. After a couple of republished album the new settings suddenly appear on my website and all is well.
I think is has to have something to do with publisher ?
Any suggestions?

are you referring to the albums on the Galleries page? Or an album set?
can you show us by providing links?

The 12 album background on the Galleries page. After a couple album republished they all reverted to the desired edited color. I had also changed the text content on the Galleries page, but that showed up immediately on the site, it was only the album background that needed some republishing to revert.

the colors of the albums you see on the Galleries page is controlled in Pages (Appearance > The Autoindex > Albums Setup for the Autoindex) not the Albums.

That is exactly where I made the color change and it showed in Lightroom after a refresh but did not immediately show on website after upload until I republished some albums with Publisher.

Ok, I solved the problem, but will someone please tell me why and if this normal.
As stated earlier when I make changes in the CE4 Page module relating to color in the appearence-autoindex-album setup, the changes don't show up on my website. Other changes do show up. I have been fiddling with this for a whole day (I'm retired). This morning I did the following after many other things.
I logged into TTB-Admin and clicked on List PHP Module.
Immediately my website popped up and when I clicked the Galleries tab, the changes that I had made hours earlier were now showing. Like magic.
Is this "List PHP Module" refresh something I should have to do? it is not a big deal, but wondering if there is some other issue that I should look into.
Actually, I am not sure what I need TTB_Admin for ?
Thanks in advance

That doesn't sound right. If you made changes to Pages and uploaded, those changes should be seen immediately, barring any caching issues.
You do need to be sure that after exporting, you're uploading css files the /lib/css/ folder.
But you shouldn't need to do anything with TTG-BE to affect styling for Pages.
Actually, I am not sure what I need TTB_Admin for ?
TTG-BE admin is where you set up for the contact form as well as setting up Publisher and the Cart, if you're using them.
The problem you're experiencing sure sounds like a caching problem.
One thing to try is to check your site in other browsers to see if the problem shows up there as well

OK, you are right, now my magic solutions doesn't work. damn., spending too much time on this little problem.
After your feedback, I did another edit of the CE4 Page and it is not showing up again
My caches are clear, I have used a different browser with cleared cache, used different devices also.
I checked the date and time this last edit of the css files /lib/css/ folder and they are current within seconds of the upload via filezilla.
Before I purchased CE4 pages, I used just the autoindex module for a few weeks but I had put it into a subfolder which I since deleted.
When I purchased pages I installed it in my root directory and moved my old wetsite to subfolder. I am wondering if somehow that previous autoindex plugin is interferring somehow. Prior to my TTB-BE revelation I was fiddling with publisher but nothing really happened until I did the List PHP Module, now that may have been just a coincidence.
I am thinking it may be easier for me to remove all Turning Gate CE4 files from my site and start clean and rebuild. I have the page template saved. What do you think?

Probably a good idea to start from scratch then.
Do you have anything else installed that's not TTG related? Old WordPress stuff for instance?

First off, thanks for your help Rod. I really appreciate th help. I am in the process of reloading now.
We will see. Actually, glad I did it because when I started this little project I was more ignorant of web building than I am now, if you can believe that.
Will keep you advised.
