Hello,
I just joined because I already made my first LR gallery and even customized it a bit in Dreamweaver so I can have a preferred background photo for it. However, I also want to be able to alter my description without having to re-export my LR gallery all over again and/or having to re-upload it via FTP. I wasn't sure if this was related to "AutoIndex" or what?
I have that concern, plus another: Do you have instructions on how to package the LR gallery for upload via Wordpress? Or am I supposed to just look at an already-installed theme and get an idea from that? I tried to upload it to WP to see what it would do, but it says the "style.css" sheet is message.
The Stylesheet is in there, but I apparently don't have it in the right folder? Anyway, any documentation you can show me about these two things, I would appreciate.

are you using a TTG gallery now?

You need to upload any TTG galleries (or any galleries exported by Lightroom) via FTP

I'm really not sure what you're getting at. Are you trying to match a Lightroom gallery to an existing WP theme or are you trying to use it as a theme (not possible)?
Can you give us a better idea of what you're trying to do? Are you using TTG products right now?

Hello,
I already successfully created a Lightroom gallery and published in on my own domain via FTP. I even tweaked it a bit to my liking.
The one thing I would like to do right now is this:
edit the gallery description that shows up on all the pages without having to edit it in Lightroom and then re-export and re-upload it.
I tried editing the first index file but notice it does not change on all the pages. I want it to change on all the pages.
As far as the WP stuff, I think I thought I was supposed to upload the gallery as if it were a WP theme, but I think I misunderstood. I'll have to later figure out how to incorporate it into an existing them per the instructions.

if you're using a TTG gallery, then edit the autoindex.xml file
TTG makes a WP theme creator so that you can match your WordPress site to your TTG galleries and other pages.
edit the gallery description that shows up on all the pages
On all what pages? Is this a WordPress site and you want your galleries to automatically show up on a menu?? I'm still not clear as to what your set up is or which TTG plug-ins you're using
