There is an aspect of Auto-index whom I did not completely understand.
If I have 2 album-sets with each 2 galleries :
*- Album-set 1 :
- image-gallery 1
- image-gallery 2
*- Album-set 2 :
- image-gallery 3
- image-gallery 4
Where's I put albums and galleries?
And when I create each galleries which target I put in Navigation Hyperlinks ?

albums and galleries are essentially the same thing. We call them albums when they're managed by Publisher and galleries when they're not.

I'm not following the question. What exactly are you doing? Where are you trying to place links?

When the image-gallery 3 is shown how to be sure to return to the album-set 2 and not to the album-set 1 ?
In each template, at the section "Navigation Hyperlinks",under label "Galleries", do I have to fill the target ?

No. Use CE4 Autoindex to create templates for Album Sets and CE4 Gallery to create templates for albums (image-gallery)

make the target the top level of your image galleries. If you're using a Pages based setup, the target will be /galleries.php. This is the default.
