I set up the two sandbox accounts. I modified BE and added the testing info API username, password, and signature. Deployment is set to testing. I sell prints and no digital downloads. I want people to be able to check out and pay through PayPal. My questions:
1. Both Transactionless Payment Gateway and Paypal Payment Gateway are Enabled. I am not clear whether one or both should be enabled?
2. When I go to my test gallery, add an image to the gallery and click on the PayPal button, I am taken to the PayPal test site where there are the fields to enter in the credit card information. Do I need to use a real credit card number or can I use a fake one?
3. When I view my cart there are two options: Proceed to Checkout and Check out with PayPal. Proceed to Checkout results in emailed invoices sent to me and the buyer. If I only want the PayPal option, how do I remove the Proceed to Checkout option?
Thanks for your help

1) if you only want to take payment through PayPal, then disable the transactionless gateway.
2) don't know. Give it a try. I don't think anything is processed when using the sandbox anyway.
3) Disable transactionless gateway

Instead of entering in card details, create a sandbox buyer account and login with that.

I discovered if you are going to pay with a credit card, PayPal automatically verifies if the card information is real. So you need to enter in a real credit card number/info to go ahead and process the transaction. So far nothing has been actually charged to the credit card account, I assume because this is a sandbox account.

See my previous message. In all the time spent developing and testing Publisher I have not once entered a credit card number on the PayPal sandbox.
