Hi,
I am trying to install CE4 publisher but when I get to the point where I should go to TTG-BE admin I get an error message.
When I select Dasboard / Publisher admin I get:
Unable to find the file cart/application/skeleton/.htaccess. Copy this from your downloaded Cart zip file into cart/application/skeleton/ your server.
Not sure what to do since I don't have cart installed yet! I aim to install it but only once my site is looking good.
Any help appreciated

Can you provide a link to your site?

Hi Les, I suspect the message is giving an incorrect location. It's getting late here. I'll look into this issue in the morning, Melbourne time.

can you double check that you uploaded the publisher/ folder to the ttg-be/ folder (not the CE4_publisher.lrplugin folder or the zipped folder)

Affirm, Publisher folder has been uploaded to the TTG-BE folder.

strange. I should be able to go to the URL of you publisher folder and see this message:
{"status":"error","message":"The page sent an action which was not available."}
Instead, when I go to http://www.leshendry.com/ttg-be/publisher/ I'm seeing the same message that you're seeing. This indicates that the publisher/ folder is not there.
I guess you could try deleting the publisher/ folder and reinstalling. Maybe try extracting the zip file again. When you extract the zip file you get a folder named CE4-Publisher-210. Inside this folder is the Lightroom plugin and the publisher/ folder that you upload to your site. In side of this folder you should see this:
can you confirm?

Hi Rod,
Yep done all that
CE4-Publisher-210 then upload the folder publisher to the TTG-BE folder and the list of files in the uploaded folder is the same as your list.
I'll reload it all and leave a message for when you get up in the morning.
Best regards

There have been a few problems with some hosting incompatibilities. I'm sure Ben will sort it out.

the only thing I can think of for now is to check the permissions on the publisher/ folder. Maybe try setting them to 755 or 777

Hi Rod,
I have completely reloaded the website and it now seems to work in that I can now get to the publisher settings.
Now moving on to see if it works in Lightroom and publishes correctly.
Thanks for your help with this.
Best regards

I've reviewed the code and found two areas for improvement: 1. The message should have referred to TTG BE and admin rather than Cart and cart., and 2. The code should no longer be copying .htaccess files to another location. This isn't a bug. It can just cause issues for file browsers or FTP programs that are set to ignore these hidden files during transfer. I had replaced all other instances of .htaccess with htaccess, which aren't hidden files, but had missed this one case.
