I Have checked every step of the migration instructions but I get the above error when I run the migration tool.

basic question: have you set up an instance of CE4 Publisher in Lightroom yet (not just installing the plug-in)?

OK I just re-read the instructions and I think I understand that an "instance: is a folder on the server. I am also trying to implement auto index at the same time as I upgrade. The migration instructions say: "If using CE4 Auto Index, you may use any auto index folder as your target." Since I was not using auto index before, there is no autoindex folder on my site.
I looked at the auto index plug in instructions again and there is no mention of an auto index folder. What am I missing?

An instance is created when you set up Publisher in Lightroom. From the Library Module go to Publish Services and right-click (ctrl-click for Mac) on CE4 Publisher. Follow these instructions on setting up a Publisher Instance: http://ce4.theturninggate.net/docs/doku … r_instance

You'll have to export and upload one to the server at the same server level as ttg-be/. Then, when you create your Publisher Instance, set this new autoindex folder as your top level galleries folder.
