I am follwing installation instructions, and upon installation of TTG BE, I try to login with the information supplied in the online manual, but it keeps returning me to the page. when i try a random password it does tell me username or password are wrong, but when i enter the correct password, it simply returns to the login screen

one other question, are you using the latest version of ttg-be? It should be 2.0.1
have you tried deleting and replacing the ttg-be folder on the server?

I will be waiting for Matt or Ben, otherwise i have purchased CE4 today and downloaded all the files indicated in my order email, i am trying to install it according to the instuctions. Meanwhile i have asked my host to verify on the PDO and sqlite thing.
how do i check my ttg-be version?

My version of ttg-be is 201a i guess from the name of the zipfile i downloaded

Until Matt or Ben can take a look, my only suggestion is to try extracting the zip file again and replacing the ttg-be folder you have on the server.
I'm wondering if your host/server is blocking form submissions?? I don't know enough about it check for that though.

I am running several other installations on that host (DreamHost) including but not limited to Drupal, Gallery, and Wordpress, all running succesfully, i have tried to reupload, with no avail, i will try the re-extract and reupload suggestion.

just confirmed with my host both sqlite and pdo are running on my installation, have re-extracted and re-uploaded the ttg be files, my zip file was ttg-be-201A, still not running, problem remains the same, please help, i really need this installation to work.

It looks like something is amiss with sessions on your server. You can login but the backend immediately forgets that you have.
I don't think i can advise on how to fix this. Instead it would be best if I could FTP to your server and try to work out what's wrong.
If that's fine with you, please provide FTP access details via PM or by using the Email link under my picture.

I just purchased hosting services at BlueHost and my files work there, clearly I have some settings wrong on my DreamHost account, thank you all for the help, i will try to get it right on Dreamhost at a later stage.
