Hi,
As we all do, I have thousands of photos in Lightroom. They're organized into a collection hierarchy. What I'm looking to do is to create a gallery of all my photos, which I'll put on a private web site. That way, I'll have access to all my photos from my various mobile devices. The question I have about the plugins here is, will they preserve my collection hierarchy? Will I be able to drill down from a table of contents page into the various sub-collections, etc? Importantly, will the plugins do this without me having to duplicate my existing collection hierarchy like other publish plugins require?
Thanks!

you can do what you envision, but not automatically. Using Publisher you'll need to create Album Sets and populate them with Albums. You can essentially duplicate your Collection hierarchy this way, but it will require you to duplicate the hierarchy in Publisher. I think that's just the way Lightroom works.
Using the traditional upload method, you could use your existing Collection hierarchy in the Web Module and turn Collections into Galleries and Collection Sets into Autoindexes. But you'll have to create them one at a time and upload each individually.

As Rod says, you will need to recreate your structure under Publish Services to put it all online, and that's just how Lightroom works. You may be able to ease the process by using Smart Albums to "watch" your collections, so that when you add an image to a collection, it is added automatically to your Publish Services album and queued for upload the next time you publish.
Smart albums cannot be user ordered, though, so this may or may not cause sequencing issues for you, depending on how you organize your images.

Thanks for your responses. Seems like a big design flaw with Lightroom.
