How do you feel about the sharing buttons?

Out of curiosity, how do people feel about the position of the Share buttons in the CE3 plugins?

They show up beneath the navigation, above the page content area. Is this the best place for them? Would you prefer them to appear someplace else?

Imo they look sexy. Also the location is good I think because if you would place at the bottom at the page people will not notice.

Re: How do you feel about the sharing buttons?

Hi Matt,

I wasn't sure about having them below the navigation, so I shifted them above the navigation at the right. Imho it gives a balance to my logo and softens the impact of having them in the content area.

Re: How do you feel about the sharing buttons?

I hadn't thought of it, but the flexibility to choose a location would be welcome.  Lofty makes a good point with the icons on top.  Balance aside I think top of the page is a more common location, or in a right-hand column.  That's where the photographer's logo/brand identification sits.  Along with navigation it's one-stop shopping.

If nothing else adding a Wiki page to customize location as Jon has done (enjoyed your urban shots by the way).  It does yield a cleaner look as he says.
