bluehost and php 5.4

I'm using CE2 Pages Lite 5.2.4 and Highslide Gallery CE 3.1.5 . I just received an email from Bluehost telling me I need to switch to PHP 5.4 in the next seven days. Will my current configuration be OK with this switch?

Thanks!

Insofar as we are aware, you have nothing to worry about. If we do find that problems ensue, we will endeavor to fix them via updates.

Re: bluehost and php 5.4

Thanks Matthew. I have to choose between PHP 5.4 and PHP 5.4 (Single php .ini) and this is quote a bit over my head. Does it matter which I choose?

Re: bluehost and php 5.4

Probably not. Do they give you any indication which option is their "standard" ... ?

Strangely, I haven't not been notified to make any such changes on my campagnapictures.com account.

Re: bluehost and php 5.4

They recommended PHP 5.4 (Single php .ini) . I just made the switch and everything seems to be fine.

Thanks for your help.

Re: bluehost and php 5.4

Some 5.2 PHP code does not work on 5.3 or above due to changes in the PHP language.  However, our products do not use the language features that have changed.  If you do find any issues running TTG products on PHP 5.4 then please let us know so that we can fix them.
