Which Bundle to Buy?

I'm trying to figure out which bundle to get. It looks like the difference is between getting Pages and Theme for WP Blog.
How does the Theme for WordPress work without Pages?

Re: Which Bundle to Buy?

Wordpress can act as the framework of your entire site. From the Dashboard you can add pages and manage navigation. With the bundle you can style your Wordpress theme and the galleries and indexes to be consistent across the site.

Pages creates a framework for a website as well but does not rely on Wordpress. It outputs six pages: Home, Galleries, Info, Services, About, and Contact. You can use all or some of them. You can style pages and galleries and indexes to be consistent throughout the site. You can also use Theme for Wordpress to create a blog that will match the site.

It comes down to how you want to manage your site. Each has their advantages and disadvantages.

going the Wordpress route you'll have to log in to your site to manage content like adding pages, or content to pages.

Using Pages, everything is created on your local computer and uploaded to the site (with the exception of your blog if using Wordpress for just a blog)

Re: Which Bundle to Buy?

Thank you for explaining that, makes sense. I guess there should be a bundle with both then for the people that want to do the majority of work from LR but also want a blog that will look the same.

Re: Which Bundle to Buy?

Just get the Web Publishing bundle and add Theme for Wordpress. You're still getting a discount on the bundle portion.

Re: Which Bundle to Buy?

$10 cheaper if I buy the WP Blog bundle and add Page ;-)

That being said, I'm going without the WP Blog as I can add it later if I feel it's needed.
