Hello,
I am seriously considering purchasing the CE3 complete package, but need a little clarification before I plunk down my $$$.
I will most defintely want a solution that has a Shopping Cart that links in with PayPal. I understand that Cart is version CE2, and that Cart CE3 is coming out later in the year. I also know that if I buy the package, the package includes CE2 complete and CE3.
Do I: Install the CE2 version of everything - including Cart, then upgrade everything to CE3 when Cart CE3 comes available?
A little clarification on this point, greatly appreciated.
Cheers,
Jeff

That's an option. Personally, I opted for updating as much as I could to CE3 and am leaving any Cart dependent pages (In my case, some Stage pages) as CE2 until Cart CE3 becomes available.
If you also use Publisher, then any CE2 Albums (galleries) you publish are easily updated to CE3 by just changing the Publisher templates being used. If you have everything designed ahead of time, then this change is practically instantaneous.

Thanks Rod,
Still grappling with the overall architecture of the various plugins. So bear with me...
I would like to use Cart with any image that appears in my galleries. In other words, if I post an image to my website, it's "for sale". I will have multiple galleries (Black and White, Abstracts, Animals, etc).
Given this, would my Gallery pages be created with CE2? All other pages created with CE3 (Info, Contact, etc)?

Correct.
But as I said, use Publisher to create these galleries and when CE3 Cart becomes available, then it's super easy to change all your galleries over to CE3 all at once.

I don't think the CE3 'Web Publishing' complete package includes the cart at all, does it?
