I am updating a site for a client that has purchased BL2 and wishes to upgrade from BL1
This is the state is live and has BL1 installed:
I have created a WP Home, Contact, T&Cs, Privacy and Cookie Policy pages
I would like the "Clients" link on the menu bar to direct me to the updated BL2 Galleries
Is it also possible to keep the information settings from BL1 ie, Design Templates, Cart Pricing and localisation settings for both Designer & Cart?
Please can you give me instructions on how to update to BL2 as not overwrite my WP pages
the site in question is:

Since the site is based on WordPress, Backlight has nothing to do with the WordPress generated pages and will not overwrite them as long as you only update the backlight/ folder. Do not upload the index.php and .htaccess files that are at the root of the unzipped Backlight-Installer-xx folder.
If the original site is using the Pangolin design modules, then you won't have to do anything related to design for albums and album sets, it will be the same.
If, however, the original site is using the old Okapi modules, then be sure that you install the Okapi Web modules when you install Backlight 2. After the Backlight 2 installation is complete, go to the Backlight Modules page and install them. The old design templates will still be available but will not have the updated BL2 features; you'll need to redesign using the Pangolin modules.
Settings, Languages, Cart products and pricing schemes should just come along for the ride. Just be sure you follow the update instructions and DO NOT replace the data/ folder.

Since Cart is being used, I'm pretty sure that the Backlight 2 version of cart will also be needed. Same with Client Response, if that's being used.

I managed to install BL2 keeping my WP Pages intact, but when I try to get to the galleries I get this error message:
Call to undefined method CartHelper::isDevelopment()|#0 /homepages/33/d787287351/htdocs/clickandbuilds/Keeneyegallery/backlight/publisher/application/init.php(8): GenericApplicationHelper->getLocaliser(Object(ApplicationConfigManager)) #1 /homepages/33/d787287351/htdocs/clickandbuilds/Keeneyegallery/backlight/framework/init.php(144): require_once('/homepages/33/d...') #2 /homepages/33/d787287351/htdocs/clickandbuilds/Keeneyegallery/galleries/lib.php(56): require_once('/homepages/33/d...') #3 /homepages/33/d787287351/htdocs/clickandbuilds/Keeneyegallery/galleries/index.php(8): require_once('/homepages/33/d...') #4 {main}|URL: /galleries/index.php

Did you also upgrade to Cart for BL2?
Did you update the Publisher plugin (if using Lightroom)?
Did you complete all steps of the BL2 installation, including clicking on the Update Album Files link?

Yes, the problem was I didn't log in as the administrator to update the files. I can access the galleries now.
The main Problem is, now when I log in as the administrator I get this error message
Something went wrong
Expected one or zero rows from SQL query, multiple rows returned. sql: 'SELECT * FROM settings WHERE 1=1 AND key=?' params: array ( 0 => 'API_KEY', ) in PdoExtended.php on line 551
And its also saying "Client response gallery is unavailable" even though its been installed under Backlight Modules. https://keeneyegallery.co.uk/galleries/test1/

Do you have a Pangolin page template assigned to Client Response under Backlight Settings > Personalisation : Client Template

I have checked and the client response still does not work, see link https://keeneyegallery.co.uk/galleries/test1/

That error mentions API key.
Have you entered an API key in Settings?
Ben will probably need to look into that error.
He’ll need Backlight Admin credentials.

Yes, I have entered an API key, and the client response still does not work.
I am happy to send Ben my login credentials if necessary

Can you email through a Backlight admin login, and also the API Key that you've been trying to use? It looks like there are multiple keys in your database. I'm not sure how that could happen, but I can clean it up for you via the admin interface.

Guys Thank you so so much for your help and advise, I managed to sort all the problems out but creating a fresh install, I must have missed something out.
