add watermark without reupload pictures

I'd like to add a watermark to images already published. I'm using even the cart addon to sell them without watermark after purchase. Is that possible?

Re: add watermark without reupload pictures

you'll need to republish images to add or remove watermarks

Re: add watermark without reupload pictures

Sure. You need to first add them in whatever photo editing software you're using though.
Backlight can't add watermarks on it's own, it doesn't do photo editing.

For the technical inclined, there are other ways to add watermarks. One example is to use ImageMagick from a script: https://www.linuxjournal.com/content/wa … mmand-line. Although this example is for the linux platform, but this can work on Windows and Mac as well.
