Navigation assignments

This subsite: pideja.ca/duc was designed by importing templates from this other subsite: pideja.ca/tnm in order to have a certain consistency in the design.
However, the navigation in the new site is not at all the same as in the imported template site. Can't find where to assign the correct pages to the correct navigation buttons. Also, in Backlight, I checked the boxes to not have the search show up but there it is, in the navigation.

Re: Navigation assignments

Navigation links are controlled in your Menu Sets
http://backlight.theturninggate.net/doc … ation_menu
that will include the Search link in the navigation.
The setting you are referring to is to put a Search quick link in the top pallet

Re: Navigation assignments

Problem is I created a custom menu and made it the default menu but I'm still stuck on the original default menu.

Re: Navigation assignments

So, I edited the default menu and it works. Still, it's a mystery to me why the custom menu did not work.

Re: Navigation assignments

Did you assign your custom menu to the page template?
